Shawtec Pty Ltd's manufacturing division has supplied over 500 Western Australian Schools with computer furniture since 1987. We were one of the first furniture manufacturers to recognise and address the impact of personal computers and new technology on todays schools. The result?  We now have one of the broadest lines of classroom computer furniture available on the market.

The company has a program of World Competitive Manufacture (WCM) and continually seeks to increase the efficiency of its operations.

Its latest acquisition is a new Morbidelli 504 CNC machining centre for all its flat panel processing. This highly sophisticated equipment compliments our computer controlled Beam Saw to provide us with huge productive capacity.

We combime CAD/CAM (Computer aided Design and Manufacture) software, state of-the -art manufacturing equipment and "Just-In-Time" job scheduling and materials management. We do not maintain a huge inventory of "Shelf Stock" which keeps our plant running effciently-and our prices low

Our Manufacturing facilities along with our Offices and Showrooms are in Belmont, one of the main industrial areas aproximately 6km East of the Perth City. From here our products are shipped throughout Australia and to other parts of the world.
